African and spreading rapidly 
The virus has been observed for the first time in 1947 in Uganda. In 2007, the number of known cases of Zika was low enough to pass the one hand. From the Pacific Ocean in 2014 in French Polynesia and Easter Island to the virus in 2015 in Central America, the Caribbean and South America began to spread and become a global pandemic.
